Let’s work together !
The Open.Make project is collaborating with different projects and communities in order to achieve its goal. If you think you have similar or complementary objectives, do not hesitate to contact us and let’s start collaborating.
We have already been approaching several related communities, initiatives and projects:
Open science working group at the FU Berlin is our partner in the organisation of regional events.
The GOSH community is a community we are actively participating to. We also used its forum to reach the open hardware community.
The OSHWA community is less focused on academia, but represent a larger group of open hardware enthusiasts.
The RDA is a community working on diverse initiatives related to research data and its management or dissemination. We are particularly involved in the FAIR principles for research hardware interest group.
Open!Next is a project funded by the EU. They have been working intensively on metadata for open hardware.
The OPEN HARDWARE OBSERVATORY is a project lead by OHO e.V, and aims at providing an index of available open hardware and certify them.
- Lab maker GmbH is a company helping researcher to make their hardware prototype ready for production, and building open source hardware setups.
